Traditionally archtop jazz boxes have used either x-bracing of parallell bracing. We have chosen to use parallell bracing on the two pickup models because it enables us to place guitar pickups anywhere between the bridge and the neck. (See below a semi finished parallel bracing and finished x-bracing) With x-bracing it is not possible to cut pickup holes anywhere you want without damaging the x-bracing also. Therefore on our x-bracing models pickups are top mounted

On flattop models there are several different bracing patterns to choose from and it is very much a matter of taste which bracing pattern sounds the best. We have chosen traditional x-bracing which is a relatively rigid construction. However, to compensate this, we are using very thin tone woods to increase dynamics and sensitivity. After all, our guitars are built to perform in a studio and in home enviroment.
